When you take to the road as a driver, what you drive and

how you drive will make a difference.

Collectively, America's 230 million drivers have a great impact on themselves and on our nation: How much CO2 is emitted into the atmosphere that impacts our climate. How much fossil fuel energy is consumed. The air quality and health impact. The amount of money spent in fuel use, maintenance, and repairs. And how safe we are as drivers.

Green Driving America is committed to helping drivers make transportation choices that will benefit the planet and themselves. Embracing the driving of clean vehicles, smart driving practices, and alternatives to driving begins by exploring our TIPS and this website.

Green Driving America is excited to be focused on the school community for the 2023-2024-2025 school year semesters to make a difference with two funded projects:

The Clean Transportation Path offers guest-speaking webinar presentations for high school STEM educators, driver educators, and and career and technical educators in the classroom to show students the compelling benefits of low- to zero-emission vehicles as well as smart driving tips in gas-powered vehicles!

Schools Are Not Drive-Thrus—for California and Vermont, and for the Upper Valley of Vermont and New Hampshire—engages schools in idle-free schools campaigns to reduce vehicle idling on school grounds!
